JOB TYPES: Full-time. MUST be a U.S. citizen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with team members representing a wide range of business functions, including product management, engineering, project management, production support, operations, and marketing, to identify documentation opportunities and priorities.
• Transforming the results of analysis and strategy into clear, concise documentation with a high degree of technical accuracy, including:
Product Manuals, User Guides, and Quick and Detailed Reference Guides.
• Internal procedural documentation and technical workflows.
• Detailed internal technical documents and diagrams.
• Internal application user assistance modules, such as FAQs and Help sections.
• Use Release Notes (a.k.a. Changelog, Release logs, or Software changes).
• Elicit ongoing feedback from internal and external stakeholders to measure and ensure the accuracy and efficacy of published documentation.
• Update and maintain documentation as new product features are introduced.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of proven experience in writing technical documentation.
• Ability to quickly learn complex software systems and financial industry business concepts.
• Proficiency in mapping and organizing information for multiple audiences, languages, and outputs.
• Ability to work equally well independently and as a team player.
• Understand and explain complex technical concepts.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to undertake multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with the tools of our trade, including MS Office, MS Teams, SnagIt, Paint, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, DITA authoring tool., and DITA XML expertise.
• Must be able to provide writing samples.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up.

PAY RANGE: $15.00-$90.00 per hour
