Scrum is an Agile framework for completing complex projects. Scrum originally was formalized for software development projects, but it works well for any complex, innovative scope of work. This course comprehensive covers the principles and theory underpinning the mechanics, rules and roles of the Scrum framework. Students learn through instruction and team-based exercises, and are challenged to think in terms of the Scrum principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace. The course prepares the students to take the "Professional Scrum Master level I" (PSM I) certification exam.
