The roots of our agency date back to March 8, 1914, when Fritz Weirchering established Germania Farm Mutual, Local Chapter 111.
In the early years, Chapter Secretaries were the equivalent of today’s Principle Agents. Chapter Secretaries would
travel to prospective clients and interview them to determine if they would be a good fit to become part of the local chapter,
a.k.a. an insurance client. These interviews helped to ensure quality clients and a favorable loss ratios , while
building a loyal book of business based on interpersonal relationships.
